FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy empowers children to grow through play, movement, and meaningful experiences. By nurturing skills such as coordination, problem-solving, and self-care, OT helps children participate confidently in everyday routines at home, school, and in the community. Each session is designed to support independence, foster creativity, and celebrate progress toward developmental milestones.
How can OT help my child?
Occupational therapy supports children who face challenges with daily activities, development, sensory processing, motor skills, attention, emotional regulation, or participation in school and social environments. Just like the growing handprints in our logo, each child's abilities unfold uniquely. Therapy is thoughtfully tailored to their individual strengths, needs, and goals — helping them build confidence, independence, and meaningful milestones along the way.
Areas of OT Treatment can include:

Working within these familiar spaces allows children to build confidence, independence, and functional skills that carry over into everyday routines. Home-Based Support — Strengthening daily routines where children feel most comfortable. School & Classroom Integration — Enhancing participation, attention, and learning in educational settings. Daycare Collaboration — Supporting early developmental skills through play and structured activities. Community-Based Practice — Building confidence in parks, playgrounds, stores, and other everyday environments.
